Deuteronomy 8:10: "And you shall eat and you shall be satisfied. And you shall bless the Lord, your God, for the good land he has given you."
Almighty God, we give thanks for these gifts you have blessed us with. You have given us a great country in which we are free to praise you for your goodness and your power. You have blessed us with homes and family and allowed us to see the Light and to know You. We are eternally grateful for all of your workings and ask that you may bestow your grace upon us that we might join you at the Eternal Banquet. Knowing that we are sinners, we long for your mercy and forgiveness. We thank you for the ultimate sacrifice you made for us and look to you for guidance.Heavenly Father, in these trying times, when the spirit of the age threatens Christian values, give our Bishop Richard holiness of life and wisdom to direct and guide our diocesan family so that we may grow in your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O wise and loving Father, through our good shepherd, Bishop Lennon, you lovingly reassure us that You will help us do the seemingly impossible, if we only continue to trust in You. Bless and guide Bishop Lennon as he discerns what is best for our diocese and for the faith of its people. May he experience the peace, the comfort and the courage of a shepherd who loves his flock, clearly hears the voice of the Master Shepherd, and follows unwaveringly in His footsteps.
