Heavenly Father,
Thank you for affording us this opportunity to gather together as a faith community in order to deepen and explore our Catholic faith through the First Friday Club. Help us to take the message Bishop Pilla has given us and go forth with courage and conviction into the world to bring back the vibrancy of our faith. May the Holy Spirit come upon us, strengthen us in faith and inspire in heart.
God, help Catholics to fight for the end of injustice in today’s society. Dare us to challenge both civil and religious leaders to end the inequalities present in the world. Let us boldly walk together in a march for social justice. Give us the courage to leave the mark on our world that you intended us to make. Amen.
