Let us begin this gathering as we do all things, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Good and Gracious God, we thank You for the opportunity to come together today in your name. From the moment of our Baptism, we began a life-long process of Christ centered growth. Through study, scriptures, prayer, and our relationships with others we strive to connect with You, our Savior, on the most intimate level possible.
Please Lord; open our hearts, eyes, and minds to the message offered to us today. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, Guide our actions so that they may shadow our faith. Guide our steps so that they may retrace our prayers. Guide our eyes so that they may never be downcast.
Thank you for giving us the ability to pray so that even when our bodies have fallen our minds may be prostrate in prayer. You stand with us when the world turns against and your strength alone allows us to move forward.
Let our faith be like a river; ever changing, evolving, confidant and rich in the face of countless obstacles.
Let our love be like a wave; forever generating outward, its strength pulsing through every rock and stone.
Let our heart be as a lake, reflective of all the glory of creation.
And let our peace embody the rain, covering the land, bringing life and hope, and spreading your glory throughout the earth.
