Heavenly Father we thank you for another day of this gift of life. Today we gather before You with humble hearts and gratitude for your boundless gifts. We ask You to bless this meal we are about to share. As we travel life’s journey together may we never forget to share with others the blessings You have generously bestowed upon us. This we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

It’s Thanksgiving, Lord.
You have sent your servant-leader, Father Tom(Thomas), to demonstrate that one person can make an incredible difference in the lives of others.
We give thanks for him and his example.
Help us realize we can do the same.
Help us give thanks to be sitting in Akron – Not the Gulf Coast or Pakistan or Iraq or Africa.
Help us realize and share the blessings you have poured into our lives.
Inspire us to share our time and money, because “when you do this to the least of My brethren, you do it to Me.”
Lord, I invite you into my life today.
Here is my brain – think with it.
Here is my face – smile through it.
Here is my tongue – speak with it.
Here is my ear – listen with it.
Here is my hand – touch someone with it.
Here are my arms – hug someone with them.
Here are my feet – walk with them where you want me to go today.
Amen.
