March 2007 Closing Prayer

O God,
Blessed be Your name. Our help in ages past. Our hope for years to come. We love You. We come before You with praise, and leave this place with praise in our hearts. It's all about You. May there be more of you, and less of us in each of our daily lives. May we take time to reflect on Your greatness.
Forgive us, Lord - for those instances when we fall short of Your glory. Give us strength by Your Holy Spirit to overcome temptation and sin. We pray that we would remain focused on the sacrifices of Jesus for us throughout this Lenten season. May we put on Your armor of protection. May we set aside our differences, and may we focus on what we have in common - and that is You.
We give thanks for everything You do in our lives. We pray the You would pour out blessings upon Sister Lardie and her ministry. We pray that You would protect our military service people. We pray for the leaders in our country at all levels that they would seek You for guidance. We pray for comfort, that goes beyond all understanding, for those who are hurting.
Help us, O God. Help us to be compassionate, giving and forgiving, and loving one to another. May we be more like Jesus.
O God, You alone are worthy of all glory, honor and praise. And may we never give up, never give up, never give up. Amen.
