Let us pray,
With our hands, Lord, may we work for you.
With our hearts, may we always be kind.
With our eyes, may we search for the good you would like us to find.
With our mouths, may we speak loving things.
With our ears, may we hear what is true.
With our minds, may we be wise enough to live our whole life for you.
Lord, Bless this gathering of friends and help us grow in love and understanding of your teachings.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,

Heavenly Father,
we thank you for feeding us both physically with this wonderful lunch, and spiritually with Mr. Kehoe’s talk on justice. As Jesus says in Matthew’s gospel, we should not forgive just 7 but 77 times. Give us the strength to justly forgive those who wrong us and not just seek punishment. Please God watch over all in prison, whether that prison is behind bars, in a hospital bed, or in the despair of depression. Guide us to liberate others in your name. Allow us to be your humble servants and give us the strength to sacrifice as your son, Jesus, sacrificed.
