Dear Lord, in life's celebrations, you rejoice with us, In life's challenges, you urge us on. In life's discouragements, you encourage. In the storms, you calm our fears. In our insecurities, you remind us of how much You treasure us. In victories, you are joyous. In defeats, you are closer than ever. Thank you for bringing glad tidings to the poor, liberty to the captives, sight to the blind, and letting the oppressed go free. Thank you for being our shepherd, for nourishing and caring for us spiritually, mentally, and physically. Amen.

In John's Gospel Jesus says, I will certainly not reject anyone who comes to me, because I have come from heaven, not to do my own will, but to do the will of him who sent me. Now the will of the one who sent me is that I should lose nothing.
Jesus, we sometimes feel lost, purposeless, and confused. We feel better knowing that even if we wander, we can come to you, and you will not reject us. We welcome your reassurances that even if we are lost, you are not, and that you are with us each step of the way. Help us listen for your guidance. God of all hope, pray for us. Amen.
